Training for practitioners and partners

Training is available for practitioners and partners, to equip them to help smokers to quit or signpost them to the appropriate service.

There are several levels of smoking cessation support within Devon.

Very Brief Advice – ASK, ADVISE, ACT online training

This online training is for people who come into contact with smokers and explains how to encourage them to get support to quit. Find out more about the online training here.

Level 2 – Stop Smoking Practitioner training –

This training is available to staff operating within GP practices, pharmacies, some other community settings. Run by One Small Step, Click OneSmallStep Training  or for more information and dates of upcoming courses.

e-cigarette online training

Available to everyone wishing to gain a greater understanding of how to support smokers to quit who wish to use e-cigarettes. Find out more about e-cigarette online training here.

Making Every Contact Count Training
