Training for practitioners and partners

Training is available for practitioners and partners, to equip them to help smokers to quit, or signpost them to the appropriate service.

There are several levels of smoking cessation support within Devon. Please click on the links below for more information about available training to support your smoking cessation work.

Very Brief Advice – ASK, ADVISE, ACT online training

This online training is for people who come into contact with smokers and explains how to encourage them to get support to quit. Click here for more information.

Level 2 – Stop Smoking Practitioner training – Full course

This training is available to staff operating within GP practices, pharmacies, some other community settings, and OneSmallStep. Click here for more information and dates of upcoming courses.
